TriesAI Field Acquisition Protocol

All remote submissions must meet these requirements. Incomplete data packages cannot be processed.

Important: TriesAI can only process data collected according to this protocol. Non-compliant submissions will be returned with a correction checklist before processing begins. Following this protocol ensures the quality and accuracy of your final report.

Survey Lines REQUIRED

  • Minimum 3 survey lines per site
  • CMP measurement points at consistent intervals (1m or 2m)
  • Lines should be perpendicular or at defined angles to geological strike where possible
  • Label each line clearly: Line 001, Line 002, Line 003

GPS Requirements REQUIRED

  • Exactly 2 GPS points per line — Point 1 (start) and last point (end)
  • GPS format: decimal degrees (e.g. 9.654321, 124.123456)
  • Record coordinates at the time of acquisition — not after
  • Include GPS source (phone app, dedicated GPS unit)

Instrument Requirements REQUIRED

  • Accepted instruments: PQWT S500 or ADMT Golden Rod AIDU 500 HT2
  • Record the exact instrument model used per line
  • Record the set target depth configured during acquisition
  • Data files: CSV (.csv) for PQWT · DAT (.dat) for ADMT
  • Do not alter, convert, or reprocess raw data before submission

Photo Documentation REQUIRED

  • Minimum 1 photo per survey line showing electrode setup
  • Photo must show the line direction and terrain clearly
  • Include a photo of the instrument display showing target depth setting
  • Photos must be in JPEG or PNG format with original metadata intact

  • Client name and contact number
  • Site location — municipality and province
  • Date of field acquisition
  • Instrument model (PQWT S500 / ADMT AIDU 500 HT2)
  • Set target depth per line (50m / 100m / 150m / 200m)
  • Number of survey lines and CMP points per line
  • GPS Point 1 coordinates per line (start)
  • GPS Last Point coordinates per line (end)
  • Line orientation / direction (N–S / E–W / etc.)
  • Terrain description and surface conditions
  • Photo checklist confirmed (one per line)
  • Surveyor name and signature

How to Submit Your Data Package

Download and complete the Field Survey Form

Fill it out during or immediately after field acquisition. Do not fill from memory after the fact. Every field is required.

Organize your data package

Create a folder named SITE_[Location]_[Date] containing: raw data files (.csv or .dat), site photos (one per line minimum), and the completed Field Survey Form.
